Upsized Flash Deal: Get Big S$408 Cash Sign-up Offer For Citi Credit Cards

For just a few days from 23rd January 2025 (12PM) to 27th January 2025 2nd February 2025, new Citibank cardholders can get an upsized S$408 cash gift when applying for eligible credit cards below.

The catch? Only the first 500 each day from 12PM would get this upsized amount, which means as many as 2,500 people will get this increased offer so the chances are really good. Even those who fall outside of this number can get S$370 or another gift option of their choosing.

Promo Details – first 500 starting 12PM daily

To qualify, sign up for the SingSaver Promo below as a new Citi cardholder starting 12PM, 23rd January 2025. The first 500 applications counter resets each day at 12PM.

After your application, fill out the SingSaver Rewards Redemption form and spend at least S$500 in eligible transactions within the first 30 days of card approval. According to SingSaver, gift fulfilment for cash rewards will be as soon as 4 weeks after the requirements are met.

For free lounge access

Citi PremierMiles gives 2 free lounge visits per year via Priority Pass.

For groceries, dining and/or petrol

Citi Cash Back gives 6% on dining and grocery spend plus 8% cashback on petrol. There’s a minimum spend of S$800 required for its earn rate, but you can easily meet the requirements by buying vouchers from your preferred supermarket.

Easy 4 miles per dollar

Citi Rewards is an easy-to-use card that gives 4 miles per dollar on online transactions. Pair the card with Instarem Amaze and you can get 4 miles per dollar even in physical stores by using your Amaze card.

For 5% on online spend

Citi SMRT gives a decent 5% cashback rate on online transactions. Unlike many other cards with a higher earn rate, Citi SMRT does not cap the amount of cashback you earn per month.

Instead, the limit is an annual cashback cap of S$600 which is good for S$12,000 of spend, making this card great for larger transactions. You can spend up to S$12,000 at one shot and get 5% provided it is not an excluded spend.

What to spend on?

You need to meet the minimum spend to qualify for rewards. Do note that there are transactions which are excluded. Read the terms and conditions carefully when applying.

Generally, retail transactions like buying stuff or dining out are very safe. Things like bill payments, education expenses and CardUp or ipaymy become a lot iffier and depends on the bank your card is from.
