Easy ways to clock the spend requirement
There are 2 quick and easy ways to hit the S$800 minimum spend. One of the more common ways is to buy supermarket vouchers such as those from Sheng Siong, Giant or NTUC FairPrice. By buying vouchers you are able to hit the spend requirement quickly, and you are free to use the vouchers over the 1 to 2 years they are valid for.
Aside from groceries, consider buying vouchers from heymax. There is a pretty wide variety of vouchers ranging from Grab to foodpanda, or Courts and Ikea. You get bonus Max Miles for signing up using my link, and more when you buy the vouchers.
Of course, most kinds of retail spend should work, whether you want to buy an iPhone or air tickets, or use the card for your everyday spend.
