YouTrip Adds Google Pay Support, Offers up to S$7 For Apple Pay & Google Pay Payments
Following August’s addition of Apple Pay support, YouTrip is adding Google Pay support for their multi-currency wallet app. You can now add your YouTrip card to your Google Pay wallet and make payments with your Android device.
At the same time, YouTrip is offering up to S$7 cashback for users to use YouTrip via Google Pay or Apple Pay. This is for the first 8,000 users who finish the requirements or 3rd January 2024, whichever comes first.
Promo details
To qualify for the rewards, follow the following steps:
- Add your YouTrip card to Google Pay or Apple Pay
- Launch your YouTrip app and tap on the Perks tab
- Click “Redeem now” on the banner
- Be one of the first 8,000 users to complete 10 mobile contactless payments with YouTrip
Those who complete the steps will get S$5 cashback in their YouTrip wallet. New users who have not used Apple Pay or Google Pay with YouTrip will get additional S$2 cashback with their first payment using YouTrip with Apple Pay or Google Pay (also subject to being the first 8,000).
Note that public transportation payments are explicitly excluded for this promo. See the terms and conditions here.

Mobile wallet support is a basic functionality
YouTrip has seen some competition lately with iChange – a similar multi-currency app that supported Apple Pay and Google Pay from launch – and this feature would definitely make YouTrip a bit more competitive.
It’s great to see more wallet apps supporting mobile wallets which is really a basic feature we should expect in this day and age. Instarem should really hurry with the Apple Pay support for amaze.
