Good Deal: PAssion POSB Debit Card Offers up to 9% Rebates or 5 Miles Per Dollar For Malaysian Ringgit Spend
PAssion POSB Debit Card has been the excellent DBS yuu Card’s younger sibling, offering just 50% of the rewards. At half of the DBS yuu’s earn rate, DBS yuu cardholders have had little reason to care for the PAssion POSB Debit Card.
However, the debit card just added a little something not found in the DBS yuu — Malaysian Ringgit spend! This means it is possible for us to get up to 18X yuu Points per S$1 spent earn rate which is 9% rebates or 5 miles per dollar on spends across the Causeway!
Signing up for the card by 31st December 2025 can also get you S$90 of vouchers from various yuu Partners, so read on for more details.
Requirements
To qualify for PAssion POSB Debit Card’s highest earn rate, you will need to spend at least S$500 within the month and transact at minimum 5 of the following merchants:
- Malaysian Ringgit spend
- Cold Storage / CS Fresh /Jasons
- Giant
- Guardian
- Eleven
- Singtel
- Mandai*
- Gojek
- foodpanda Singapore
- Charge+
- CHAGEE
- BreadTalk*
- TOAST BOX*
- Thye Moh Chan*
*Until 31st October 2025 only (Toast Box Group and Mandai leaving yuu ecosystem)
There’s no minimum spend you have to achieve at each merchant, so you could just buy small items from each merchant to satisfy the requirement. It’s relatively easy and slightly annoying.

Spend caps can water down earn rate on Malaysian ringgit spend
There is a cap of 7,600 yuu Points (S$38 rebates or 2,111 miles) that can be earned at this earn rate per month, which is good for about S$422.22 of spend on Malaysian ringgit, or S$506.67 spend on the other eligible merchants found above. A full S$500 spend on Malaysian ringgit (to meet the minimum spend) means that you will earn 7.6% effective rebate or 4.22 miles per dollar.
Based on my quick Math, keeping Malaysian ringgit spend around S$300 and below within the month while meeting the remaining S$200 spend with other yuu merchants will keep dilution minimal. It results in at least 8.2% rebate and 4.5 miles per dollar or so which is still pretty great, though there is also opportunity cost since you can use DBS yuu Card for this S$200 of spend. Will probably revisit the calculation again soon so stay subscribed for that.
