Great Deal: Get 20% Cashback on Overseas Spend With UOB TMRW Until 31st December 2025
Travelling to Malaysia, Thailand, or Indonesia by end of 2025? This is a great promo that you need to take note of — you can get as much as 20% cashback when you spend via your UOB TMRW app.
Steps
To qualify for this promo, you need to first register here.
Thereafter, launch your UOB TMRW app, tap Scan to pay, and make payments by scanning the QR codes of eligible merchants. You need to make at least 3 such payments via UOB TMRW app to qualify for the cashback.

It is also worth noting that personal QR codes would likely not work at all (i.e. payment will fail). For instance, it is quite common in Bangkok for businesses to use PromptPay QR codes linked to their personal accounts. It’s worth scanning the QR code first before making any purchase if you want to check that it is supported at the place you are patronising. (Thanks Adam for the reminder!)
More Details
This promo will run from 17th September 2025 to 31st December 2025. Cashback earned will be credited directly to your account from 29th January 2026 onwards, though UOB does mention they can change this date.
The total cashback cap is S$50 which is good for the equivalent of S$250 spent in the currencies of those 3 countries.
For the avoidance of doubt, the first 3 payments will also get the 20% cashback.

No added transaction fees
UOB states that there are no fees to be paid for such transactions, but my experience with using a similar feature with another bank is that the foreign exchange spread can be around 3%.
It’s definitely not a dealbreaker given the high earn rate of this promo, but I would likely do a Johor Bahru run really soon to check the exchange rate. Stay tuned on the Telegram to find out, or share your own data points if you are currently overseas and can make use of this promo.
20% cashback is really, really good (if you can find supported merchants)
20% cashback is a fantastic reward though the promo is limited to only certain merchants. I was in Bali recently and it was very rare to see shops accepting QR payments, but I think this promo would be fairly easy to use in places like Bangkok and Malaysian cities.
