PSA: LumiHealth Coins Now Expires Within 6 Months

If you have been using LumiHealth, a health and rewards programme designed by Singapore in partnership with Apple, note that coins now expire within 6 months from the time they are earned.

This includes coins accumulated since the programme started some 5 years ago. The change was effected early April 2025, which means that any coins in your stash before then would expire as soon as late September 2025.

Redeemed eVouchers will last 90 days

When you redeem your coins for HPB eVouchers within the app, the eVouchers will last 90 days. This means that if you are reading this article close to the expiry of your coins, you can still redeem your coins for eVouchers first before deciding where to spend them.

List of merchants seems to be shrinking

The current list of merchants:

  • 7-11
  • greendot
  • Cold Storage
  • Dian Xiao Er
  • FairPrice
  • Giant
  • Guardian
  • Hillion Mall
  • Jasons Deli
  • Koi
  • LiHo Tea
  • Marketplace
  • Mr Bean
  • Polar Puffs & Cakes
  • PRIME Supermarket
  • Qiji
  • Sheng Siong
  • Simply Wrapps
  • Skechers
  • Swensen’s
  • Unity Pharmacy

An unfortunate thing about the programme is that iStudio has notably stopped accepting HPB eVouchers. Quite a bummer, since I was hoping to use my LumiHealth coins for something like a new HomePod or AirPods. Compounding the problem further, Best Denki at Hillion Mall has recently closed down. A couple of other merchants like AIBI and Sakae Sushi have also left the programme.

A plausible workaround to use LumiHealth coins for gadgets could be the Singtel Exclusive Retailer within Hillion Mall, though it is a relatively small shop with a relatively small range of products.
