Kris+ Promos: S$15 Rebate and Bonus 2 Miles Per Dollar With KrisFlyer Amex Cards
For the months of July and August 2024, Kris+ has a Mastercard spend promo where you can get S$15 rebate when you make two transactions of at least S$65 each. As the name suggests, you have to charge Kris+ transactions to a Mastercard credit or debit card, and this is limited to the first 3,500 people who successfully complete this.
American Express has a concurrent promo for its KrisFlyer cards and you can get bonus 2 miles per dollar for Kris+ transactions charged to your Amex KrisFlyer cards.
Note that the two promos do not stack since one requires the use of Mastercard while the other is a promo for Amex cards.

11.5% Bonus: S$15 Rebate For 2 × S$65 Transactions (Mastercard only)
If you are able to make 2 transactions of at least S$65 each, getting a S$15 rebate is about 11.5% bonus on top of your usual card rewards. You have to first accept the challenge within the Kris+ app and be one of the first 3,500 to successfully complete the 2 transactions by 31st August 2024. The challenge started from 15thy July 2024.
The S$15 rebate is given in the form of 2,250 non-transferrable KrisPay miles. These miles can only be used to offset future purchases in Kris+ and cannot be transferred to your KrisFlyer account.
Amaze’s recent support for Apple Pay is relevant here since it is a Mastercard and would hence qualify for this promo.

Bonus 2 Miles Per Dollar With Amex KrisFlyer Cards
Until 15th September 2024, use an Amex KrisFlyer card to make payments on Kris+ and get bonus 2 miles per dollar on top of the usual earn rate. This applies to:
- Amex KrisFlyer (1.1 miles per dollar + 2 miles per dollar bonus)
- Amex KrisFlyer Ascend (1.2 miles per dollar + 2 miles per dollar bonus)
- Amex PPS and Amex Solitaire PPS (1.2 miles per dollar + 2 miles per dollar bonus)
You have to go to your Amex app and be one of the first 15,000 to save the offer. The promo is capped at S$500 of spend which means a total of 1,000 bonus miles can be received. These miles are transferrable to KrisFlyer for flight redemptions.
While there are many cards that can earn 4 miles per dollar with Kris+ such as Citi Rewards + Amaze, DBS Woman’s World Mastercard, HSBC Revolution, UOB Lady’s etc, this offer could be useful for those trying to hit their sign-up reward for their Amex cards.
Kris+ remains a good way to pay for quite a few things whether you are a cashback or miles person
Despite recent promos not being as generous as before, Kris+ continues to be a decent way of getting bonus rewards on your spend. Quite a few restaurants and eateries now support it, and electronics retailers like iStudio and Challenger also offer it as a payment option.
While it may look like it is only relevant for miles chasers, Kris+ app has long offered decent rewards even to those who prefer cashback. KrisPay miles earned through the app can be used as cash rebates to offset future purchases. In fact, some KrisPay miles (such as those earned through spend promos) can’t be transferred to KrisFlyer and thus cannot be used to redeem for flights.
Don’t forget also Kris+’s ability to convert offline transactions into online ones, making it very useful for online-only cards like DBS Woman’s World Mastercard, HSBC Revolution, Citi SMRT etc. Read the full guide on Kris+ for more info.
