31st March 2026

Government LPA fee waiver expires
A Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) allows you to appoint a decision-maker to make certain decisions on your behalf should you lose the mental capacity to do so.

There is a S$70 application fee for LPA Form 1 which is currently waived until 31st March 2026. After that, the fee needs to be paid. Note that regardless of whether you apply before or after the fee waiver, you still need to engage a certificate issuer which charges their own fees. Update: LPA Form 1 fees are waived for Singaporeans indefinitely

HSBC Revolution’s buff ends
HSBC Revolution’s time-limited buff has been extended twice, but without more news from the bank it does seem like it will come to an end on 31st March 2026:

Deadline for filing personal income tax
The deadline to file one’s individual income tax returns is 18th April 2026.

30th June 2026

Final day to open and fund SRS account for statutory retirement age of 63
The government has targeting an increase of the statutory retirement age to 65 by 2030. This year, on 1st July 2026, the age will increase from 63 to 64.

This has impact for those who have yet to open and fund their Supplementary Retirement Scheme (SRS) accounts. By opening an account and funding at least S$1, you will lock in the prevailing retirement age which is currently 63. Doing so from 1st July 2026 will mean that you can only start penalty-free withdrawals from age 64.

6th July 2026

Final day to use your Child LifeSG credits.

31st December 2026

Final day for CPF and SRS top-ups for tax relief
As usual, the final day to top up one’s CPF or SRS accounts to get tax relief for income earned in 2026 is the last day of the year, 31st December.

Final day to use CDC and SG60 vouchers
Government vouchers are set to expire 31st December 2026, including:

  • CDC Vouchers 2026 (issued January 2026)
  • SG60 Vouchers (issued in July 2025)
