Extended: S$450 Cash + Vouchers, Gadgets, or Miles For Citi Cards!

For a limited time, continue to get attractive sign-up gifts when you apply for a Citi credit card and meet the requirements! While most cards need you to be a new cardholder, Citi Prestige’s welcome gifts are given also to existing cardholders of other Citi cards.

There are two concurrent promos: gifts from Citi itself, or those from SingSaver. They do not stack so you have to choose one or the other.

For New/Existing Cardholders: 50,000 Miles With Citi Prestige

Whether you are a new or existing Citi cardholder, you can apply for the Citi Prestige card and qualify for the welcome promo of 50,000 miles! Since this works for existing Citi cardholder, you should really apply for another Citibank card above first so that you can qualify for two sets of welcome rewards.

Check this post out for more details on the Citi Prestige promo:

Which card to choose?

Citibank cards are one of the most useful cards around, whether you are a miles user or cashback person.

For cashback, Citi SMRT and Citi Cash Back are great cashback cards. Citi SMRT gives 5% for online transactions, even big ones, and is very easy to use since all you need is S$500 of minimum spend within the month. Citi Cash Back is also very straightforward, giving 6% cashback on dining and groceries spend and 8% cashback on petrol as long as you meet S$800 spend within the month.

For miles, Citi Rewards + Amaze continues to be an easy-to-use combo for 4 miles per dollar, and Citi PremierMiles gives 2 free lounge visits a year.

What to spend on?

You need to meet the minimum spend to qualify for rewards. Do note that there are transactions which are excluded. Read the terms and conditions carefully when applying.

Generally, retail transactions like buying stuff or dining out are very safe. Things like bill payments, education expenses and CardUp or ipaymy become a lot iffier and depends on the bank your card is from.

Do check out this article on what you can spend on to meet the minimum spend:
