DBS Card Deals: Attractive Sign-up Rewards For New and Existing Cardholders
DBS current slate of offers is pretty interesting… to people like me who find credit card deals interesting, that is. After looking through the offers, I think that you would find something attractive here whether you are a new or existing cardholder.
A Summary of the Current DBS Offers
I have listed the ongoing sign-up promos from DBS in this table below:
| Card | New Cardholders | Existing Cardholders | End Date |
|---|---|---|---|
| DBS yuu | S$300 cashback + S$80 Esso vouchers S$800 min. spend | S$80 Esso vouchers No min. spend! | 18th January 2026 |
| DBS Vantage | Check back for updates | N/A | N/A |
| DBS Altitude | Up to 28,000 bonus miles + 10,000 miles S$800 min. spend | N/A | 1st February 2025 |
| DBS Takashimaya | Choose 1 of 3 Dyson gadgets S$300 min. spend | S$100 cashback S$600 min. spend | 31st January 2026 |

For New Cardholders: Miles Rewards Are Bigger
This time, the promos for new cardholders are tilted towards giving out miles, with as much as 85,000 miles for DBS Vantage and 35,000 miles for DBS Altitude. The cashback deals are comparatively much weaker, with just S$150 cashback for the popular DBS yuu card as well as their other cashback cards. I’d encourage cashback people to stay subscribed for updates, but also to look beyond just cashback since miles are simply another form of currency.
Get the DBS Vantage if you can meet the requirements
You can read the individual posts for more details but the short version would be: if you have an annual income requirement of S$120,000, can meet the spend requirement of S$4,000 within 30 days, and are willing to pay the compulsory first-year annual fee of S$599.50, I think the DBS Vantage promo a fantastic offer.
DBS Altitude promo is very easy to meet
Otherwise, the DBS Altitude promo is also very attractive, giving as much as 25,000 miles with just S$800 spend within 60 days. This is perhaps one of the lowest spend amounts for this many miles, and you have a relatively long time to clock this requirement.
You can opt to pay the annual fee of S$196.20 for additional 10,000 miles, but I generally think this is not a great option.
For Existing Cardholders: 40,000 Miles, S$150 and S$60 cashback
Unlike many banks, DBS doesn’t neglect its existing cardholders when it comes to sign-up rewards. There are as many as 3 cards giving existing cardholder of other DBS/POSB cards, and you should definitely take advantage of these deals as much as possible.
DBS Takashimaya Card – S$150 cashback even for existing cardholders!
DBS Takashimaya Card offers as much as S$150 for new or existing cardholders alike! It’s a substantial amount of reward for just S$250 spend at Takashimaya, and particularly generous for existing cardholders. Definitely don’t miss this offer which is slated to end 31st August 2024.

DBS yuu Amex – S$60 cashback for non-yuu cardholders
The American Express version of DBS yuu gives a S$60 cashback gift for just S$300 of spend. Unfortunately, there is new clause in the terms and conditions this time and if you already have a DBS yuu card, you can’t qualify for this S$60 reward. It’s quite a bummer and also a reminder that existing cardholder welcome offers are rare and often disappearing.

DBS Vantage – 40,000 miles
Even for existing cardholders, I think the DBS Vantage promo is quite worth it. Just taking the annual fee of S$599.50 divided by the 40,000 miles gives a 1.49 cents per mile cost which isn’t great, but definitely not terrible. It’s a lot better after you factor in things like the free hotel night and Priority Pass visits.

Stay subscribed for more great deals and updates!
Though cashback offers for new cardholders are pretty lacking this month, DBS continues to offer attractive rewards for new and existing cardholders alike. If you like miles, this is a great time to sign up. If not, you might want to hold off a bit, although DBS yuu’s earn rate is so good you may incur quite a bit of opportunity cost by waiting.
Regardless, I suggest subscribing for more updates and promos coming soon!
