Upsized: HSBC Cards Offering S$450 Cash or Choice of Other Gifts For Welcome Rewards

For just under a week, the welcome offer for HSBC credit cards has been upsized to S$450 cash, S$475 Grab vouchers, or a choice of other gifts including Dyson Airstrait. Applicants just need to apply as a new cardholder and meet the minimum spend by the end of the following month from card approval.

🆕 A new HSBC cardholder refers to those who do not currently have a principal HSBC credit card and have not cancelled any in the past 12 months.

💳 An existing HSBC cardholder refers to those who have not cancelled any card in the past 12 months, and their existing cards were issued more than 12 months ago.

⚠️ It’s possible to be neither a new nor existing cardholder if you do not meet any of the two definitions above. Refer to the terms and conditions for specific terms.

Promo Details

Apply by 28th July 2026 and make sure you fill up the SingSaver Rewards Redemption Form to select your gift. Thereafter, make a min spend of S$500 by the end of the following month from card approval to be eligible. This means that if your card is approved in July, you have until 31st August 2026 to complete the spend requirement.

Which card to choose?

HSBC Revolution is an easy pick if you are new to HSBC cards. With a staggering 8 miles per dollar possible (equivalent to 5% cashback) with no minimum spend, it is the strongest HSBC card right now, and definitely one of the best cards available in the market. Sign-up promo for existing HSBC customers

If you already have a HSBC card that you’ve signed up for more than 12 months ago, you qualify for HSBC’s existing cardholder promo. You can either get S$50 by signing up for HSBC Revolution, HSBC Advance, or HSBC Live+, or qualify for the 10,000 miles plus suitcase promo when you get HSBC TravelOne.

What to spend on?

You need to meet the minimum spend to qualify for rewards. Do note that there are transactions which are excluded. Read the terms and conditions carefully when applying.

Generally, retail transactions like buying stuff or dining out are very safe. Things like bill payments, education expenses and CardUp or ipaymy become a lot iffier and depends on the bank your card is from.
