This is rare chance to get 10% cashback on many categories excluded by other cards including Grab/Shopee top-ups.

Here is how the bonus cashback works:

The bonus cashback is capped at S$250. This is reached with S$2,577.32 with spend like Grab top-ups, or S$3,012.05 on all other eligible spend.

Given how universally excluded Shopee/Grab top-ups are for other credit cards, it is quite a good idea to take advantage of this promo by using it for such top-ups. You can then use your Grab or Shopee wallet anywhere it is accepted and get 10% cashback by proxy.

Minimum spend of S$500 required, Grab top-ups excluded

To qualify for the sign-up promo of S$60 cash or gifts from the flash offer, you will need to make a minimum spend of S$500 within 30 days from card approval. The terms and conditions exclude e-wallet top-ups from this spend requirement, so while you can get 10% cashback from the UOB promo, you will need to make sure you spend S$500 in retail spending to secure your sign-up gift.
