2025 is upon us and it’s another fresh quarter to get 8% cashback for HSBC Live+! If you didn’t already know, HSBC Live+’s excellent 8% cashback earn rate has been extended until the end of 31st March 2025.

- Provide HSBC consent to receive marketing/promotional materials during application
- Fill up SingSaver Rewards Redemption Form to select your gift
- If no application reference number is provided, use the last 4 digits of your mobile number
- Existing cardholders can fill up the form pick any gift; S$50 cashback will be given upon completion of requirements
- Make a min. spend of S$500 by the end of the following month from card approval date to be eligible for rewards (i.e. cards approved in August will have until 30th September to complete spend requirement)

Easy spend requirement in the first quarter
To get 8% cashback, HSBC Live+ normally requires a spend of at least S$600 per month for 3 consecutive months within the quarter. This means that you would need to spend a minimum of S$600 in each of the months of January, February, and March.
However, the spend requirement is much simpler in the first quarter when your card is first approved. Instead of having to spend each month, you just need to reach S$1,000 of spend within the first calendar quarter. You could spend S$1,000 in January and not use the card in February and March, and still get 8% cashback. Or you could spend S$400 in January and S$600 in March to qualify. As long as you hit S$1,000 within the calendar quarter, you are good to get your high cashback.
This makes it much simpler to use the card, and you can even spend as much as S$3,125 at one shot to get 8% cashback since the cashback is capped at S$250 each quarter. You can refer to the article I’ve written on HSBC Live+’s spend requirements for more details:
