Hot Deal: Get Both iPad + S$250 Cash With HSBC Credit Cards!

For a limited time, get both an iPad and S$250 cash when you sign up for an eligible HSBC credit card as a new cardholder! To be clear, this is not an “either or” option because you can get both gifts for meeting the promo requirements.

🆕 A new HSBC cardholder refers to those who do not currently have a principal HSBC credit card and have not cancelled any in the past 12 months.

💳 An existing HSBC cardholder refers to those who have not cancelled any card in the past 12 months, and their existing cards were issued more than 12 months ago.

⚠️ It’s possible to be neither a new nor existing cardholder if you do not meet any of the two definitions above. Refer to the terms and conditions for specific terms.

Which card to choose?

My personal pick is HSBC Live+ because new cardholders can get upsized 8% cashback for their first two quarters from approval, and the first quarter’s requirement is much simpler.

For miles, HSBC Revolution is an excellent choice for miles, being one of the top cards to use with its current promo that will run until 28th February 2025.

What to spend on?

You need to meet the minimum spend to qualify for rewards. Do note that there are transactions which are excluded. Read the terms and conditions carefully when applying.

Generally, retail transactions like buying stuff or dining out are very safe. Things like bill payments, education expenses and CardUp or ipaymy become a lot iffier and depends on the bank your card is from.

Do check out this article on what you can spend on to meet the minimum spend:
