Extended: HSBC Revolution Restores Contactless Payments and Travel Through February 2026
Update: extended till 31st March 2026!
HSBC sprung a surprise back in July, reviving many features of the HSBC Revolution that we thought were dead and gone. There are more good news now: the buff has been extended to 28th February 2026, giving 4 additional months on top of the original 4-month period.
Also extended is the sign-up offer and new cardholders can get S$400 cash or a gift of their choice when they sign up by 21st 30th September 2025. Existing HSBC cardholders get S$50 cashback instead.

HSBC Revolution is one of the best miles cards now
The card has since become my primary miles card of choice, and the extension makes the card a lot better since there is a longer time period to accumulate points.
As a reminder, HSBC Points are one of the best types of points right now, being able to transfer to multiple airlines including EVA Air. Transfers are instant, don’t incur conversion fees, and you don’t have to worry about leftover points once you reach at least 10,000 worth of miles. The only downside I can think of is that the conversion to KrisFlyer miles is at a lousier ratio than other airlines, but given the ability to use EVA Air miles to book Singapore Airlines flights for fewer miles I don’t think this is a dealbreaker.
