Limit and requirement
Citi Prestige cardholders can book a maximum of 2 complimentary airport transfers per calendar quarter, which means you can book a total of 8 rides a year.
To qualify for the rebate, you have to make a spending of at least S$12,000 within the calendar quarter. While it seems like a high amount of spend, Citi PayAll transactions also qualify as long as you pick the fee-paying option. Not only are you able to buy miles through the service, this is also a good way to get free limousine rides for your trip.
Citi PayAll allows you to pay a variety of bills like income tax and insurance, and you can therefore leave your normal retail spending instead to higher earning cards. Do check out the guide for Citi PayAll to know how to utilise the service optimally.

Rebate mechanic
When you book the rides, your Citi Prestige is first charged the full cost of the limo rides which are typically S$80 to S$100+ depending on the type of vehicle and surcharges. If you meet the minimum spend requirement of S$12,000 within the quarter, you will get the amount fully rebated by the end of the next calendar quarter. Note that you can first make your booking, then meet your spend requirement after the booking as long as both are done with the same quarter.
Even if you are not travelling with that quarter, you can book your rides for a future trip, even if it is in another calendar quarter. Just make sure your limo rides are charged to your card within the same quarter where your S$12,000 spending is met.
As a plus point, you even get to keep the points earned from the cost of booking the rides.
Example
You can book your limousine rides in October 2023 (1st month of Q4 2023) then meet your minimum spend of S$12,000 in November (2nd month of Q4 2023). Your rides can be in the same quarter or in a future quarter as long as your card is charged within the same quarter of your S$12,000 spend.
You will get your rebate some time in March 2024 (3rd month of Q1 2024).
Booking your ride
You can make your booking by emailing prestigeSG@yourconciergecenter.com or calling 6337-2484. I personally use the hotline as it is more immediate, and you need to book at least 48 hours before the pickup timing.
For the ride from your pickup location to the airport, you can book anytime before the flight and the driver will wait around 15 minutes from the time you have selected. For the return ride after your holiday, you can either choose to tag it to your flight arrival time, or select a time of your choice.
By tagging your booking to the flight arrival time, the transport company will monitor for delays and adjust the time of pickup accordingly. The driver will typically wait an hour to account for delays. If you choose a specific time, the same 15-minute waiting time applies instead.
Prior to the trip, an SMS will be sent to you with the details of the car and your driver’s number.
Vehicle types and occupancy
A sedan or multi-purpose vehicle will be sent depending on the number of people and suitcases for your booking. The maximum number of passengers allowed is 4.
I’m not a car guy, but so far I’ve taken a couple of Mercedes sedans and MPVs as well as a Toyota Vellfire. “Limousine” seems to be overselling it, but the rides have been comfortable thus far and the driver is uniformed, if these things matter to you. It’s probably what one would expect from booking a service like Grab premium.
Free limo rides are awesome
In 2023, I’ve already booked 6 rides across 3 calendar quarters for 3 of my trips, and it’s quickly becoming a perk that I enjoy. There is something comforting about having your airport rides taken care of, and it also contributes significantly to why I’ve renewed my Citi Prestige card.
