Is it worth it?

Paying the annual fee of S$194.40 for 20,000 miles works out to buying each mile at 0.972 cents each which is a pretty good deal even if you’re not into business class flights. Singapore Air has discounted deals for miles redemption in the mid of each month where even economy flights are great value to use your miles on.

Those who have a taste for business class flights will find this offer a no-brainer. HSBC promises a quick 1-day turnaround to convert your points to your favourite frequent flyer programme, and there aren’t any conversion fees until end of 2023 too.

The card also comes with 4 complimentary lounge visits – double that of cards like Citi PremierMiles or DBS Altitude.
