These rewards are on top of the usual rewards of the card! This promotion is higher than the public-facing offer you’ll find on HSBC’s website, and is also pretty short-lived: apply before 8th September 2021!
HSBC has recently introduced HSBC Everyday+ Cashback which adds extra 1% cashback to their credit cards. For miles people, this means you can get a virtually unbeatable 4 mpd + 1% cashback with HSBC Revolution. Even if you’re not into miles, HSBC Revolution’s points can also be converted into 2.5% cash rebate, which makes for a total of 3.5% cashback on most things you can pay with Paywave!
If you don’t want to manage points, the relatively fuss-free HSBC Advance Card which also gives up to 3.5% cashback.
You have until the end of the following month (i.e. 31st October 2021 if your card is approved this month) to make the $500 spend, which should be plenty of time.
