Nice Deal: Get up to $70 Cash With UOB Savings Accounts
UOB is back with another savings account promo! Get up to $70 cash when you open a UOB account – even for existing UOB account customers! – and here is how:
Promo details
Promo is until 3rd September 2021!
- Apply for one of the accounts you do not currently have (or cancelled in the last 12 months)
- Fill out the form in your email with the application number – get $30 via PayNow from SingSaver for new or existing customers
- Optional: deposit $5,000 fresh funds until end of 30th September 2021 – be the first 250 new/existing customers to get $40/$20 from UOB
Several have reported that Safari is currently having issues so please use Chrome instead:
Do read through Singsaver’s terms and conditions here, and UOB’s over here: $40 for new customers / $20 for existing customers
Some notes
The fall-below fee of each account is $2 ($5 for UOB One) per month for balances under $1,000, though this is waived for the first 6 months. There is also an early closure fee of $30 if the account is closed within the first 6 months.
Take note that you will only get one reward regardless of the number of new accounts you signed up… I specifically asked and that was the unfortunate reply. Also, while you need to be among the first 250 customers to qualify for UOB’s cash rewards, there is no specified cap to SingSaver’s $30 PayNow reward, and it’s even for existing customers!
Lastly, the user interface of the application screen has tripped a few people up before, and it’s not difficult to see why. The UI urges you to pick additional accounts to add, and with a larger image it seems that is the account you are applying for:
