Fantastic DBS Spend Promos: Get Bonus (And Stackable!) Cashback With DBS Credit Cards
DBS has rolled out yet another spend promo called the Year-End Booster and it’s pretty generous on its own. Even better, it should stack with the bank’s other ongoing spend promos.
Currently, DBS is running a bunch of ongoing promos for their credit cards. There’s something for both new and existing cardholders, so check them out here.
Year-End Booster: Get 10% bonus cashback on dining, travel and shopping
DBS/POSB cardholders can log in to DBS PayLah! app and tap on the Rewards tab to look for the Year-End Booster promo. Unfortunately, this new promo is targeted and not everyone will get it. Those who are eligible will see the promo banner under their Rewards tab as well as their spend requirement.
So far, these are the tiers I’ve seen:

Only the first 10,000 who successfully register the promo in their app will be eligible for the promo. The spend requirement includes qualified spend between 15th November to 31st December 2024. Season of Savings: get bonus S$100 cash back on dining, travel and shopping
Earlier this month, DBS also released a Season of Savings promo which also gives bonus cashback on dining, travel and shopping spend.
Based on data points provided by members of the chat group, here are the known tiers so far:

Cardholders need to be one of the first 30,000 to register within the PayLah! app to qualify. The promo period is from 1st November to 31st December 2024, and you can tap here to see the list of eligible MCCs (completely identical to the Year-End Booster Promo). See the terms and conditions here.
5% cashback on Japanese Yen transactions
Going to Japan? DBS Takashimaya American Express is offering 5% cashback on Japanese Yen currency transactions if you meet the monthly minimum spend of S$1,000 equivalent in Japanese Yen. Cashback is capped at S$150 per month which is good for S$3,000 of spend.
The promo has been running since October 2024 and is ongoing until 31st December 2024.

Stack multiple promos on top of card’s usual earn rates
These spend promos should stack with each other, so it’s a great way to earn lots of extra rewards on top of your card’s usual earn rates. If you are able to meet the spend requirements, they are also likely going to make your DBS credit cards a lot more attractive than other options.
