Extended: HSBC Revolution’s Time-Limited Buff to Expire 31st March 2026
Originally ending on 28th February 2026, HSBC has extended the time-limited buff for HSBC Revolutionto 31st March 2026. HSBC Revolution was my pick for Miles Card of the Year 2025, and this extension allows the card to continue leading the pack for Q1 2026.
Also extended is the card’s excellent welcome promo with sign-up gifts as much as S$400 cash or 25,000 Max miles (easily worth S$450).
If you have yet to pick up the card, I still think it’s a worthy addition to your miles-collecting arsenal if you want to earn valuable HSBC Rewards points that can go to multiple airlines. Given the lack of transfer fee and low conversion hurdle, you are not trapped with this card even if they don’t continue the buff after March.

Ony 1.5 months left – still worth getting the card?
Existing users of HSBC Revolution like me would likely be happy with this news, even if it’s just a one-month extension. With the S$1,500 spend cap, the card is excellent with dealing with things like airfare and hotels that few other miles card can cope with. As mentioned earlier, HSBC points are also a very valuable form of currency that allows for great value with tricks like booking Singapore Airlines flights cheaper with EVA Air miles.
If you haven’t started using HSBC Revolution, however, is it still worth it to pick up the card if it is set to become lousier after 31st March 2026? I think the answer is still yes.
Generous sign-up offer aside, HSBC does not charge any transfer fee so you are not penalised for using this card for a short while. Also, as long as you earn at least 10,000 miles on the card, you can also easily transfer all your miles with almost no leftover points because the conversion block is very small.
The points earned by HSBC Revolution, even within a short period of time, can bolster the points you earn on cards such as Citi Rewards to go to airlines beyond just Singapore Airlines.
Moreover, it’s not like HSBC Revolution becomes a useless card after March 2026. Even after it reverts to the previous version, it can still be used on a variety of spend to earn 4 miles per dollar. I will pen a piece on how to continue using HSBC Revolution after March 2026, so stay subscribed for updates.
