Easy Deals: Credit Card Welcome Offers With Low Min. Spend!

That’s even more rewards than what you’ve spent! If you do manage to hit S$988 of spending instead, your cashback is upsized to S$188.

Another easy deal not to be missed is OCBC Infinity’s welcome promo where you can get as much as S$300 vouchers with no min. spend!

CIMB Visa Signature: get 10% cashback (with category caps)

CIMB Visa Signature advertises a stunning 10% cashback earn rate and while that is technically achievable, it is a little difficult due to category caps (see review for more details). Nonetheless, you should still be able to get a good amount of cashback from the card if you can make spend within 2 or more of its categories. Coupled with the current sign-up reward, it is a compelling card to pick up.

OCBC Infinity: two welcome gifts plus 5-year fee waiver with no min. spend required

OCBC Infinity’s welcome offer is even easy — just make one transaction within 30 days with no minimum spend and you can get 2 sets of welcome gifts. The first is from OCBC which is S$100 of foodpanda vouchers and 5 years of annual fee waiver.

The second set is a choice from 4 gift options, including S$200 of Shopee vouchers. Whichever you choose, your total sign-up rewards are really generous especially considering how you just need to make one transaction, even if it’s just a dollar or two!

What to spend on?

You need to meet the minimum spend to qualify for rewards. Do note that there are transactions which are excluded. Read the terms and conditions carefully when applying.

Generally, retail transactions like buying stuff or dining out are very safe. Things like bill payments, education expenses and CardUp or ipaymy become a lot iffier and depends on the bank your card is from.
