I think the Dyson options are really compelling if you were already going to buy one. Though you can typically them at discounted prices at electronics retailers, they still cost at least S$500 to S$650, making them very worth it even after the top up amount.

What to spend on?

Generally, retail transactions like buying stuff or dining out are very safe. Things like bill payments, education expenses and CardUp or ipaymy become a lot iffier and depends on the bank your card is from.
