DBS yuu and yuu Partner Changes in October and November 2025

The yuu ecosystem has seen some significant changes in recent months, so here is a quick update so you continue to get your 18% rebates or 10 miles per dollar with the DBS yuu Card.

Exiting on 1st November: BreadTalk Group and Mandai Wildlife Group

Originally leaving on 27th October 2025, BreadTalk Group will remain a yuu Partner until 31st October 2025. This means that it will still count as a yuu Partner towards the spend requirements of DBS yuu Card and earn up to 35X yuu Points as usual in the month of October 2025, though I have heard accounts of some outlets not accepting the yuu App anymore (which is required to earn 1X yuu Point).

Mandai Wildlife Group is similarly leaving after October 2025. Currently, the Visa version of DBS yuu can still earn up to 35X yuu Points, and I have friends who have bought annual passes for their family with their DBS yuu Cards ahead of the Group’s departure from yuu.

From 1st November 2025, transactions on both groups will only earn 0.5 yuu Points per dollar, or a paltry 0.25% rebate or 0.14 miles per dollar. They also will not count towards the new 4 Partners spend requirement of DBS yuu Card.

In effect from 1st October: CHAGEE and SimplyGo

Since the start of October 2025, it has been possible to get DBS yuu’s high earn rates on SimplyGo as well as CHAGEE.

For SimplyGo, simply tap your DBS yuu at bus or MRT gantries and no registration is required. As a bonus, the Amex version of DBS yuu can also enrol in American Express’ current public transit promo and it should enjoy both its usual earn rate and the rebate offered by Amex.

For CHAGEE, only orders placed via CHAGEE app in Singapore will qualify for DBS yuu’s earn rates. CHAGEE lovers should also know that the yuu App has a Double Up deal that allows them to redeem a large Fresh Milk Tea for 620 points in the month of October, as well as new user rewards offering 50% off for drinks.

Reminder: 4-Partner and S$800 min. spend requirement started 1st October 2025

As a reminder, the 4-Partner spend requirement announced in September 2025 has already started for the month of October 2025. The minimum spend has also gone up to S$800 as previously announced.

Fortunately, the yuu App has updated the tracker to reflect this, making it relatively easy to track your spend requirement:

You can find the tracker in your yuu App under DBS.

Bonus points are now awarded within 60 working days after the end of each month

Bonus points, both 9X and 26X, will now be credited in a delayed manner, and the terms and conditions of DBS yuu state that it can be as long as 60 working days!

60 working days does seem a rather extended period of time, with points for October 2025 being credited late January 2026 if they do take as long as that. Time will tell whether this would really be the case.
