Amex Offer: Get S$3 Back For Every S$6 Spent on Public Transportation Until 14th November 2025
Until 14th November 2025, every S$6 spent on your bus or MRT rides can get you S$3 back when you register and use your American Express card. That is essentially 50% cashback and can be stacked on top of your usual card rewards if you register and use your UOB or DBS Amex cards.
Promo Details
For every S$6 accumulated on public transportation fares, S$3 statement credits will be credited up to a total of 3 times per card. If you have multiple American Express cards, you can register each card and get a total of S$9 cashback per card.

- For DBS and UOB issued cards: tap here
Registration is limited to 30,000 cards, so you would want to register each Amex card you own sooner rather than later.
Use these cards for more rewards
While the offer will work across American Express issued cards and those issued by DBS and UOB, American Express has excluded SimplyGo transactions from its usual card rewards back when Amex support was added for SimplyGo.
As such, you would want to prioritise using DBS or UOB issued Amex cards for this promo so you can get more rewards. In particular, these are the ones that give decent rewards for SimplyGo transactions:

Cashback crediting
The bonus cashback should be credited within 15 business days from the qualifying spend, though American Express mentions it could take up to 90 days from the offer end date. Based on my experience the last time Amex ran this promo, the cashback is credited very quickly.
