DBS CNY Spend Promo: Get Bonus S$88 Plus Usual Rewards

Until 29th February 2024, spend with eligible DBS credit card on qualifying shopping and dining transactions and reach your target spend amount to get S$88 bonus cashback. This is on top of your usual credit card rewards so it is an attractive promo provided you are able to meet your spend goal.

Promo details

You will first need to be one of the first 30,000 to register for this promo within the PayLah app. Also, spending before you register is not counted.

Each DBS customer is given a personalised spend goal to hit from the time of registration to 29th February 2024. According to DBS, the amount is based on one’s average spending on DBS credit cards between June to November 2023.

So far, based on various messages in the Telegram community, there should be 3 spending tiers:

Spend TierEarn Rate*
S$1,5005.87%
S$2,5003.52%
S$5,0001.76%
*Based on S$88 ÷ Spend Goal × 100

Because the earn rate is on top of your card rewards, this is a very nice bonus particularly at the S$1,500 and S$2,500 tiers. You do have to take note that the qualifying expenses are for shopping and dining.

DBS sign-up promos

If you don’t have a DBS or POSB card yet, definitely look at one of the ongoing promos to get your first credit card with the bank. There are a couple of great deals going on now.

Personally, I would go for DBS LiveFresh for the S$388 sign-up offer first, then proceed with the DBS Altitude which also offers existing cardholders a sign-up promo.

What are you spending on for this promo?

Personally, a large purchase my mum had to make last month helped me with the previous spend promo. Also, using DBS yuu with foodpanda was extra rewarding. Not only did foodpanda transactions earn the usual 17.5% rebates from DBS yuu, it also counts to such spend promos for extra cashback.
