Best Cashback/Miles Cards to Buy Nintendo Switch 2

Nintendo Switch 2 is upon us! Singapore sees the game console being sold on 26th June 2025, but some retailers are already taking pre-orders. The console retails for S$719 without a game and S$769 with Mario Kart World bundled, so here are some ways to get the new gadget while maximising your miles and cashback!

NTUC FairPrice: use CDC vouchers plus grocery card
National supermarket chain NTUC FairPrice is taking pre-orders at 3 of their stores:
- FairPrice Xtra AMK Hub
- FairPrice Xtra Jurong Point
- FairPrice Xtra Parkway Parade
The company has confirmed that CDC vouchers are accepted and you should be able to use one of these groceries cards that work for NTUC FairPrice to get card rewards on your purchase.
Singtel: use DBS yuu for 18% rebates or 10 miles per dollar!
Singtel is also now selling the Switch 2! This means you can use DBS yuu for its staggering 18% rebates or 10 miles per dollar earn rate. If you buy it online, you have to pay the retail price of S$719 or S$769 in full, and this exceeds the DBS yuu’s S$600 monthly cap by a little. It’s not too bad, however, since amounts above S$600 still earn around 5% rebates or 2.78 miles per dollar.
If you are able to buy it at Singtel’s physical stores, you should be able to split the payment across 2 DBS yuu cards for the most optimal rewards!

Popular and Toys’ R Us: use Maybank Family & Friends (for part of the payment)
Popular and Toys’ R Us are also carrying the system and interestingly enough Maybank Family & Friends can give 8% cashback up to a certain limit. These 2 stores are covered under Retail & Pets, a category that I selected.
I pre-ordered my own Switch 2 at Popular, putting S$313 (technically S$312.50 would suffice) towards my card to max out the cashback cap for the category with the rest paid for by eCapitaVouchers. One could reasonably also use a 4 miles per dollar card like UOB Preferred Platinum Visa for the balance amount. Overall, you can get 8% cashback on the S$313 and 4 miles per dollar on the remaining amount.

The mega departmental store is also selling the console at its physical store, and you could use DBS Takashimaya card for 6% voucher rebates. The sign-up promo for the card requires you to make spend at Takashimaya, so buying a Switch 2 could be a good reason to pick this card up.

Courts and Best Denki: use Heymax to get additional miles
Courts and Best Denki are also retailers for the Nintendo Switch 2, and Heymax can get you additional miles on these retailers. Shopee: use vouchers for discount
If you’re buying through Shopee, there are vouchers you can use for discounts. The S$50 off S$750 one is unfortunately fully redeemed, but the S$25 voucher is still usable:
