It’s August! Time for patriotism and great card deals. National Day is somehow an excuse for brands to do special deals, but I’m not complaining. The month has barely started and already there is so many good deals to pick from.

Citi Prestige and DBS Altitude upsized rewards!
Citi Prestige has upped its sign-up rewards to 177,500 points (71,000 miles)! The requirements are also increased, but given the extra miles, I’m sure few would complain. Stay subscribed for a fuller analysis of the promo coming up.
DBS Altitude, too, has increased the number of miles given for sign-up. This article analyses the older promo, but given the similarities in mechanic aside from an increased sign-up reward, you can read that first until I come up with a more updated version.
CIMB cards – more gift options or S$300
CIMB credit cards now come with a choice of Flujo BEA Office Chair (worth S$509) or Xiaomi Robot Vacuum S10 (worth S$379)! You may also just opt for an upsized S$300 cash instead.
OCBC cards – iPad or S$350 eCapitaVouchers
You might have already seen it, but in case you missed the blockbuster deal of the month:
More card deals for August
On top of the above, there are still more gems to be found, including some deals from last month that would end in August. Let’s also not forget that many qualify for the grand lucky draw set to end on 7th August 2023.
