YouTrip Offering 4% Cashback on Local and Overseas Dining With No Forex Fee Until 4th August 2026
From 8th July to 4th August 2026, YouTrip is offering 4% cashback on dining expenses whether in Singapore or overseas with a minimum spend of S$200. The cashback is capped at S$8 per user, and limited to the first 8,000 users who complete the requirements.
Registration is required and can be done in your YouTrip app.
Eligible MCCs
The minimum spend of S$200 must be spent on dining transactions defined by the following Merchant Category Codes (MCC):

This is a pretty comprehensive list of dining transactions, and you shouldn’t have an issue getting your dining expenses counted for this promo unless the establishment you are visiting has a really weird MCC.
Get 4% cashback + no forex fees
The cashback cap of S$8 is also reached with S$200 of spend, so this amount is the sweet spot to hit.
While 4% cashback for local dining transactions isn’t terribly exciting, the promo shines for overseas dining expenses. YouTrip does not charge forex fees for its transactions, so this can be more rewarding than a card that gives you say 6% cashback but charges you more than 3% in forex fees.
Against miles cards, it depends on your valuation of each mile, but this promo holds up quite favourably as long as your valuation of each mile is not significantly higher than 1.5 cents per mile:
