Hot Deal: Get 50,000 Miles With StanChart Visa Infinite Welcome Offer

If you want to get 50,000 miles relatively quickly at a good price, StanChart Visa Infinite’s welcome promo is great offer you can take advantage of. Sign up for the card below, pay the annual fee of S$599.50 and you can get 50,000 bonus miles. 50,000 miles are already well worth paying S$599.50 for, and you still get other benefits of the card such as 6 complimentary lounge visits.

This offer is opened to both new and existing cardholders, so cardholders of other StanChart credit cards can still qualify for this promo. If you are a new cardholder, you would probably want to sign up for another StanChart card first so you can enjoy two welcome promos instead of just one.

6 complimentary lounge visits a year and up to 3 miles per dollar earn rate

StanChart Visa Infinite offers its cardholders 6 complimentary lounge visits via Priority Pass. The card also gives up to 3 miles per dollar on your spend depending on whether your transactions are in local or foreign currencies, and the amount you spent within a statement month:

Spend Within Statement MonthLocal SpendForeign Spend
Less than S$2,0001 mile per dollar1 mile per dollar
Spend S$2,000 or more1.4 miles per dollar3 miles per dollar

Around 1.2 cents per mile

Paying S$599.50 for 50,000 miles is a cost of around 1.2 cents per mile which is a good price in my books.

Payment services like CardUp (though ipaymy is a question mark), as well as StanChart’s own SC EasyBill and Income Tax Payment Facility should count towards the minimum spend, making it a relatively affair to meet the S$2,000 minimum spend.

Using the card overseas is also a good option as long as you can hit S$2,000 worth of spend within the statement month for 3 miles per dollar.
