StanChart Income Tax Payment Facility Promo: Get 100% Fee Rebate

StanChart Income Tax Payment Facility has a promo that offers 100% cashback on the processing fee when you use their payment facility to pay for your income tax.

This is capped at S$200 and limited to the first 25 customers per month who qualify, but I think it’s well worth making a try for it since the cost per mile can be attractive even without the fee rebate.

What‘s StanChart Income Tax Payment Facility?

As a refresher, StanChart Income Tax Payment Facility allows you to charge your chargeable income tax amount to your StanChart Visa Infinite or Beyond card. A payment processing fee is also charged, and in return you will get points on your card.

By my calculation, the cost per mile can be as attractive as 0.95 cents for Beyond cardholders, and 1.36 cents for StanChart Visa Infinite cardholders.

What makes this more compelling is that StanChart will credit the amount to a bank account of your choice, which also means you can stack this with any other tax payment promos to increase your rewards.

100% cashback on processing fee for the first 25 approved customers per month

For the months of April, May, and June 2026, the first 25 applications who are approved each month will get 100% of their processing fee rebated in form of a cashback that is capped at S$200.

For example, if your chargeable income tax is S$10,000, the processing fee is S$190 (1.9% of S$10,000). You will get S$190 in cashback to offset your processing fee, provided you are one of the first 25 customers approved for the month. If the chargeable tax amount is S$20,000, the processing fee is S$380. S$200 cashback will be given as it has reached the S$200 cashback cap.

Prep for 1st May and 1st June

Given that 25 is a small number, it’s a certainty that it’s too late to try for April. Instead, prep for May or June and apply for the payment facility as soon as the first day of each month hits.

You would need either the StanChart Visa Infinite or Beyond card, and you can apply for either below for a sign-up reward:

Even without the promo, I would be using StanChart Income Tax Payment Facility to buy relatively cheap miles. Since the money is deposited into my account, I can then stack this with other tax payment promos. With the promo, I’ll be scheduling my application accordingly for a chance of getting the cashback
