Promo Details

Until 30th June 2025, GXS FlexiCard users need to spend with their physical card on eligible overseas foreign transaction spends to earn additional 8% cashback on their spend. Since you need to spend using your physical card, this has to be in-store transactions. Make sure you charge to foreign currency if prompted by the cashier/payment terminal!

This is capped at S$40 cashback per user which is maxed out with S$500 of spend. According to GXS terms and conditions, cashback is awarded on a “first come first served basis” and credited by 31st July 2025.

0 forex fee and randomised cashback

A pretty common feature lately, GXS FlexiCard charges no foreign currency exchange fees. The card also awards randomised cashback of up to S$3 for transactions at least S$10. While it’s likely to be just a few cents most of the time, it’s still added cashback on top of what you’d be getting under this promo.

Concurrent promo: 10% on S$150 spend

At the same time, you can accept a “mission” to get S$15 cashback on S$150 of spend. This is valid for new GXS FlexiCard sign-ups from 4th February to 31st March 2025 and cardholders must accept the mission by 31st March 2025 and make the minimum spend by 30th April 2025. This is another 10% bonus cashback.

You can find the mission under the strangely named “Odyssey” tab of the GXS app. Terms and conditions are found here.

Total possible: 18% + randomised cashback

8% cashback is a strong promo by itself already, and you now can get as much as 18% on the first S$150 of spend if you stack it with the cashback mission. The overall cap is relatively low, but it’s definitely a very strong promo to consider for your first S$500 of spend:

Spend AmountCashbackRemarks
First S$1501️⃣ 8% from promo
2️⃣ Randomised cashback up to S$3
3️⃣ 10% from mission
10% mission for new cardholders only

Randomised cashback is for transactions ≥S$10
Next S$3501️⃣ 8% from promo
2️⃣ Randomised cashback (≥S$10 transactions)

Total S$500 spendS$55 (11%) + randomised cashback

Of course, use code SETH877 for sign-up rewards if you have yet to get your GXS FlexiCard. Refer to terms and conditions for exact details.

No mobile wallet support

Unfortunately, GXS FlexiCard currently does not support Apple Pay, Google Pay, or any other mobile wallets. You would thus have to wait for the physical card to arrive. The terms and conditions also specifically state that you need to use the physical card.

In the meantime, you would still be able to apply for the card and accept the mission. Approval was almost instantaneous in my experience.
