OCBC Deals: Titanium Rewards and 90°N Sign-up Offers

OCBC isn’t a bank that is known to give many sign-up goodies for its credit cards. In fact, I don’t think they even tie up with finance content creators as far as I know, so sadly I don’t get anything from talking about these promos.
Nonetheless, if you were looking at getting one of these OCBC cards, you might be keen to know the current sign-up offers.
OCBC Titanium Rewards: 28,800 OCBC$ for new cardholders, 14,400 for existing cardholders
Apply for the OCBC Titanium Rewards and spend just S$100 within the 30 days of card approval to get the following:
New OCBC cardholders | 28,800 OCBC$ |
Existing OCBC cardholders | 14,400 OCBC$ |
OCBC says 28,800 OCBC$ is worth S$80 as you can use redeem each OCBC$ for 0.278 cents in cash rebates. They are also worth 11,520 miles when converted, which I suspect would be the more common use for OCBC$.
OCBC Titanium Rewards isn’t really a card you’d use on a daily basis, but when the situation calls for it, it is a great card to use for large electronics and furniture purchases. There is no monthly cap for its bonus points, and it instead has an annual cap of S$13,330 worth of spending that would get its 10X points earn rate.
This promo is until 31st March 2023 and you should head over to OCBC’s website to apply, and to read through the specific terms and conditions. Note that existing OCBC Titanium Rewards cardholders do not qualify for this promotion.

OCBC 90°N: S$180 for new cardholders, S$50 for existing cardholders
For OCBC 90°N, apply and spend at least S$3,000 within 2 months to get the following:
New OCBC cardholders | S$180 cash |
Existing OCBC cardholders | S$50 cash |
This promo applies to both the Visa and Mastercard variants of OCBC 90°N, and both are pretty different cards despite the shared name.
The Mastercard version gives 6 Travel$ per S$5 spent locally (1.2 miles per dollar), and 10.5 Travel$ per S$5 spent in foreign currency (2.1 miles per dollar). Each Travel$ can be redeemed for 1 cent or 1 mile each.
The Visa version has a lower earn rate of 5 Travel$ per S$5 spent locally (1 mile per dollar) and 10 Travel$ per S$5 spent in foreign currency (2 miles per dollar), but gives higher earn rates on things like streaming services, online food delivery, online shopping, and groceries.
None of these two cards are really cards you want to make a lot of spending on, but new cardholders do get the S$180 cash reward for S$3,000 of spend which is some 6% of bonus cashback on top of the above earn rates. The promo is until 28th February 2023, and you can apply through OCBC’s website.
Both Titanium Rewards and OCBC 90°N work for OCBC 360 Account
If you are looking to fulfil the Spend requirement for your OCBC 360 account, both of these two cards work.
