May 2026 Deals Round-Up
May 2026 is coming to an end and it’s time to look at the best deals you might have missed this month… which you shouldn’t.
Time dilation is clearly a thing, for me at least. How is it that we are approaching the middle of 2026? There’s this theory that a year is half the lifespan of a 2-year-old which is why it feels so long to them, but it’s just 2.6% of my entire life so far which is why it goes by quickly.
Anyway…
Wait for tomorrow: DBS upsizing their welcome rewards
There’s a new offer that should be launching tomorrow for DBS credit cards so stay subscribed for that. The welcome gifts should be more generous than what we see today so I would hold off on applying for a DBS card now if I were a new cardholer.
Update: the upsized DBS deal is live! DBS yuu is a difficult card to turn down, and you can also see other DBS cards here.

DBS yuu Card
DBS yuu Card is an excellent card that gives up to 18% cash rebates or 10 miles per dollar (in conjunction with the yuu app)
🎁 New Cardholders
Apply as a new cardholder by 31st August 2026, use promo code SINGSAVER, and fill up the SingSaver Rewards Form to choose your gift¹:

Ending 31st May: get S$90 or S$400 with UOB cards
UOB doesn’t have the habit of splashing out generous welcome gifts for their credit cards like other banks do, but this month you can get as much as S$400 provided you’re one of the fastest eligible applicants. All remaining eligible applicants will still get S$90 regardless of how fast they apply.
With a cooldown period of 6 months before you’re considered a new cardholder again, UOB also has one of the shortest waiting periods for people who cancel and reapply.
Ending 1st June: get bonus S$50 on top of S$1,150 suitcase with CIMB credit cards
One of the hottest deals this month, CIMB is offering a free suitcase that is retailing for S$1,150 for new applicants of its credit cards! For a limited time, SingSaver will also add S$50 cash as a bonus gift.
I would suggest signing up sooner rather than later because good promos might end earlier than expected.
Ending 1st June: bonus S$50 on top of generous gifts with HSBC credit cards
HSBC’s welcome offer for its credit cards is already one of the most generous offers it has given, but new cardholders can now get S$50 bonus if they are the fastest few eligible applicants at certain time slots:
Ending 2nd June: get S$350 cash or 22,000 Max Miles with Plus500
Plus500 is back with one of the easiest and rewarding promos where applicants can get S$350 cash, 22,000 Max Miles, or Dyson TP10.
Personally, I opened my account on 29th March 2026, completed the easy requirements, and received my 22,000 Max Miles on 8th May 2026. The Max Miles were an easy pick for me because they are worth S$396 if I used them to offset my flight costs, or a whopping S$649 if I used them for Accor hotel bookings.

Ending 31st May: use fewer miles for Singapore Airlines or Scoot KrisFlyer Spontaneous Escapes
Next month’s the June holidays so pickings are slim, but it’s still possible to book some discounted flights when you use your KrisFlyer miles. Scoot was recently added to Singapore Airlines’ monthly Spontaneous Escapes promo, and you can see the full list of destinations here:
