What’s the catch?
The rewards are amazing, so what’s the catch? A few simple requirements:
- Apply using the links here for your first ever Citi card (or you have cancelled all your Citi cards more than 12 months ago)
- Important: note down the application reference number and fill in the rewards form in your email
- Activate and make at least $200 in qualifying transactions within 30 days of approval
- Receive your reward within 4 months
The specified wait time is a little long, but given how attractive the rewards are, a little turnaround time isn’t too unreasonable. They require time to verify the sign-up source as well as the minimum spend. Do read through all terms and conditions.
