SingaporeAir’s online shopping site – KrisShop – has just launched its own loyalty programme called KrisShopper. The first 30,000 members who link their KrisFlyer accounts to KrisShopper will receive 1,000 miles, and the first 5,000 will receive additional S$20 to spend on KrisShop. It takes all of 30 seconds, and free is free.

You don’t have to be into the miles game to take advantage of this; free S$20 is free S$20, and it can be used without any minimum spend. Even the 1,000 miles can be used as S$8 on KrisShop, though people who redeem miles for flights would definitely cringe at miles being used this way.
Until 30th June 2022, KrisFlyer members who link their accounts to KrisShopper will also get a status match according to their KrisFlyer Status:
|KrisFlyer Status||KrisShopper Status|
|KrisFlyer Elite Silver||KrisShopper Insider|
|KrisFlyer Elite Gold||KrisShopper Icon|
|The PPS Club||KrisShopper Ambassador|
|Solitaire PPS Club||KrisShopper Ambassador|
To get these rewards, you need to do the following:
|Link KrisFlyer to KrisShopper||500 miles|
|Subscribe to news & promotions while linking accounts||500 miles|
|Link before 30th June 2022||Status match|
The miles and voucher (if you qualify) will be credited within 10 business days after 30th June.
How to link
Sign in to your KrisFlyer account on KrisShop.com and a pop up will appear. Make sure you tick all the checkboxes, or you would not get the 500 miles reward for subscribing to their promotions:
Alternatively, you can also go to SingaporeAir.com → Profile → Miles → Link Account (under KrisShop banner):
KrisShopper tiers offer perks mostly in form on more miles earned per dollar spent on KrisShop. The earn rates are on top of whatever card rewards you get from paying with your credit cards, although KrisShop’s retail prices may not be as attractive as what you might get at other online shopping sites.
In my experience, KrisShop does offer some decent deals and discounts from time to time, so it’s still worth popping over to take a look if there’s something you want to buy. With travel resuming, it might also be a great chance to buy stuff and avoid GST.
