Highlights
Spontaneous Escapes destinations have been pretty lacklustre of late and this month’s pickings are slim too. Here are a few destinations I find worth picking:

Hangzhou is a pretty good redemption, and there are also one-way business class flights from Beijing and Shanghai so you can also consider flying to Hangzhou first before returning from one of the other two Chinese cities.
