Massive Deal: Get Up to 100,000 Max Miles With Trust Freedom Card

Trust Freedom Card has launched its miles reward option, and there is a pretty massive welcome offer to go along with it. From 21st September to 31st October 2026, new Trust cardholders who apply for the Trust Freedom Card, select Miles as their reward mode, and meet the required spending tiers can receive up to 100,000 Max Miles.

There is also no annual fee and no foreign transaction fee on the Trust Freedom Card, which makes the proposition especially interesting if you were already considering using the card for overseas spending.

🆕 A new Trust credit card customer is someone who has no existing or cancelled Trust Credit Card.

1.3 miles per dollar with no forex fee

Cardholders can now choose miles as a rewards option with Trust Freedom Card, earning 1.3 Trust Miles per dollar spent. While this is not a particularly attractive earn rate for local spend, it gets more interesting for overseas spending since Trust Freedom Card does not charge any foreign transaction fee.

Trust Miles can be converted into either KrisFlyer miles or Max Miles with a conversion fee of S$27.25 inclusive of GST:

With HeyMax’s multiple airline partners, this represents a wide variety of airline frequent flyer programmes available to Trust Freedom Card users, making it the second card after DBS yuu to offer such conversion flexibility.

Up to 100,000 Max Miles welcome bonus

I’ll go into a deeper review soon so stay subscribed for that, but perhaps even more compelling than the 1.3 miles per dollar earn rate is the promo for new cardholders who can get up to 100,000 Max Miles:

Qualifying spendRewardTotal Max Miles
S$1,000Bonus 20,00020,000
S$5,000Bonus 30,00050,000
S$15,000Bonus 50,000100,000

These are 3 different tiers you can reach, and each new tier lets you get more bonus miles. In other words, spending S$5,000 means that you would first receive 20,000 Max Miles for reaching S$1,000, followed by another 30,000 Max Miles when you hit S$5,000. Hit the full S$15,000 and you would therefore receive three separate rewards resulting in 100,000 Max Miles (20,000 + 30,000 + 50,000)

These are bonus Max Miles from the welcome offer on top of the 1.3 Max Miles per dollar earn rate of the card.

Existing Trust credit card customers do not qualify, and you also will not qualify for this Max Miles welcome bonus if you choose Cashback, Bonus Cashback or Stockback instead of Miles when applying.

You will also require a HeyMax account:

How much are 100,000 Max Miles worth?

One straightforward redemption option for Max Miles is FlyAnywhere, which lets you redeem Max Miles against eligible flight purchases without hunting for traditional award seats.

HeyMax currently offers 1.8 cents per Max Mile for FlyAnywhere redemptions, and this can be taken as the floor value of Max Miles. 100,000 Max Miles can thus offset up to S$1,800 of eligible flight spending.

Based on FlyAnywhere value, the welcome bonus works out to:

SpendMax Miles receivedFlyAnywhere Value
S$1,00020,000S$360
S$5,00050,000S$900
S$15,000100,000S$1,800

Again, that is looking only at the promotional Max Miles and does not include the normal rewards from your card spending. You also do not necessarily have to use FlyAnywhere, as Max Miles can be transferred to more than 25 airlines, hotel and lifestyle partners, potentially increasing the value you can get.

31 days to hit the spend requirement

You have 31 days to hit the spending tiers

This is probably the most important part of the promotion to take note of. You have 31 days from the date your card application is approved to complete the qualifying spend, subject to an absolute deadline of 30th November 2026, 11:59pm SGT, whichever comes first.

What spending counts?

Only qualifying transactions that are posted to the Trust Freedom Card and confirmed by Trust Bank count towards the spending requirement. Depending on the merchant, it can take several working days so do not put it off to the last minute.

Some of the major exclusions include cash advances; cancelled, refunded, voided or reversed transactions; pending or unposted transactions; AXS, SAM and ATM transactions; insurance premiums; instant loans and balance transfers; instalment plans; fees, interest and late charges; account top-ups; as well as excluded merchant categories such as utilities, government payments, education, financial institutions, gambling and charities. Refer to the terms and conditions for full exclusions.

Track your spending in the Trust app

Thankfully, you do not need to manually calculate whether you have reached each tier. Once your card is approved, a Quest should appear in the Trust app showing your progress towards the promotion.

Go to:

  • Open Trust app
  • Tap Rewards
  • Tap Quests

The Quest shows your aggregate qualifying spend, so you can see how close you are to the next threshold. Only qualifying transactions contribute towards this figure, while excluded transactions simply will not move the progress bar.

Link your Trust Freedom Card to HeyMax

Download the HeyMax app and create an account if you do not already have one. You can then add your Trust Freedom Card through HeyMax → Cards, or through Profile → My Cards → Add Card → Trust Freedom Card.

Link and verify the card, then make sure Miles is selected as the reward mode under Card Settings. Once linked, HeyMax’s Card Maximiser can display your Trust Freedom Card alongside your other cards and show the Merchant Category Code attached to transactions.

This is particularly useful for the welcome offer because the MCC determines whether certain transactions are eligible.

3 tiers of spending

Once you reach a spending tier, a scratch card will be issued within your Trust app for you to redeem your Max Miles. Scratch it to reveal your reward, which appears as a coupon containing a unique Max Miles redemption code. You can subsequently find the code under Coupons & Stamps.

If you hit all three tiers, you will therefore receive three separate codes worth 20,000 Max Miles, 30,000 Max Miles and 50,000 Max Miles, for a total of 100,000 Max Miles.
