Promo details

Each Kris+ mile usually offsets 0.667 cents, but with the miles-back campaign, the value is booster to 0.95 cents each. For a spend of S$5, you normally need 750 Kris+ miles. Under this promo, you get back 225 miles which makes 525 miles worth S$5, or 0.952 cents each.

While most miles-back campaigns have included every Kris+ merchant, this campaign only involves Esso and FairPrice Finest, which makes it a bit more restrictive. Also, 30% isn’t as good as the 35-40% of previous campaigns, although it is the natural order of things for wallet apps to be less generous over time.

Nonetheless, this is a good time for you to cash out Kris+ miles that weren’t transferred to your KrisFlyer account, either because you chose not to, or they were non-transferrable miles. Those who have KrisFlyer miles that are expiring soon and have no other use for them may also wish to take this opportunity to transfer them to Kris+, then cash them out at Esso or FairPrice Finest.

S$10 rebate with 3 × S$10 spend with a Mastercard

Until 31st March 2023, there is also a Mastercard promo where you get S$10 worth of Kris+ miles (1,500) when you make 3 transactions of at least S$10 each with a Mastercard. You have to accept the challenge in the Challenges tab, and this could be a good chance for you to get a bunch of Kris+ miles to take advantage of the miles-back promo.

Remember – Mastercard and don’t be a sotong and charge it to a Visa like your UOB EVOL. It’s me, I’m the sotong.

Also, while Kris+ miles are an accepted payment mode at FairPrice Finest, you can’t other payment methods there. Please see the frequently asked questions I’ve compiled.
