Huat Pals 2026 Guide: How to get Marina Hay and Win up to S$88.88 or a Google Pixel Device!

Huat Pals is back for the Year of the Horse, and here is the only guide you need to win Huat Pals in 2026! The rare Pal this year is Marina Hay, and getting it means you can get an ang pow with up to S$88.88 cash or a shiny new gadget like Google Pixel 10 Pro or Google Pixel Watch 4.
The game runs from 13th to 22nd February 2026, so there are exactly 10 days you can try your luck at getting Marina Hay to win Huat Pals 2026!

Objective of Huat Pals
As with the past 5 iterations of the game, the objective of Huat Pals is to collect all 5 Pals. Only one of them is truly rare and this year it is Marina Hay.
Completing a variety of tasks (guide below) will award you with a random Pal each day, and each random Pal you get has a small chance of being the rare piece. The key is thus to get as many random Pals as you can by completing tasks. Read on for easy methods to complete the tasks as well ways to increase your chances of getting Marina Hay.
Daily Tasks

Aside from Task 4, the reset time for tasks has been 8AM for past years and should likely be the case for this year.
Huat Rain and scanning objects
Apart from the daily tasks, there is also a Huat Rain mini-game where you can get a bonus random Pal if you score at least 500.
Here is what I find the easiest way to score: just aim only for the gold coins and ignore everything else.
Also, here’s a pro-tip: if you can’t get a score of at least 500 and the game is ending, immediately quit your Google Pay app with your phone’s task manager and you can repeat the game. Skill issue perhaps, but you now have unlimited tries at getting 500.
From time to time, Huat Pals also gets you to scan objects for rewards such as vouchers. I got a S$5 ride hailing voucher which is pretty nice. Here’s an orange for you to scan:
Easiest way to play Huat Pals
Task 1: Min. S$5 paid via PayNow to merchants (easy 1 Pal each day, task resets at 8AM every day)
This task is very simple and can be done by paying merchants that accept payments via PayNow. You can either scan the business’ PayNow QR or input their UEN into the Google Pay app. Personal PayNow QR codes will not work.
The easiest way is to use Google Pay to make payment for one of the following:
- AXS bill payments (website only; the app does not allow for PayNow QR)
- CPF top-ups
- ShopeePay top-ups
AXS bill payments are perhaps the easiest way because you can pay things like your credit card bill and complete this task without having to spend more than you need to.
Task 2: Min. S$5 FavePay transaction (not so easy 1 Pal each day, task resets at 8AM every day)
This task does require you to spend specifically at FavePay merchants, so the difficulty of this depends on how common FavePay merchants are in your everyday life. My personal favourite place that accepts FavePay is Subway (though not all outlets accept this payment method).
Task 3: Send money an amount $10 and ab to a friend (easy 1 Pal each day, task resets at 8AM every day)
This is the easiest task because the friend does not need to be a new one each day. Simply find a friend, hopefully one who plays Huat Pals, and exchange S$10 with them every day.
Task 4: Gift a Pal to a friend and receive one bonus Pal per unique friend you gift (easy 5 Pals each day, task resets at 12AM every day)
For this task, you do need to gift Pals to unique individuals each time. Even if you have 10 friends playing Huat Pals, you will run out of people by Day 2, so use of this 5-year-old Telegram Group to facilitate the gifting of Pal to different people.
This can be easily done each day, and you can do this up to 5 times daily for 5 Pals.
Increasing your chances of getting Marina Hay
To increase your chances of getting Marina Hay, you need to have as many randomly generated Pals as you can get. Remember, one random Pal = one chance of winning.
This means that you should obviously complete the daily tasks as much as possible. Tasks 1, 3, and 4 are easily done each day, and those will get you 7 Pals a day. That is 70 over the course of 10 days the game is running for, and a few more from the Huat Rain mini-games that will pop up from time to time (which you will surely win because of the pro-tip earlier in this article).
To further increase your odds of winning, consider using multiple accounts. Yes, this means you need to get your friend/family member to loan you their account, and you have to juggle multiple Google Pay logins and possibly more than one device… but hey, do you want convenience or do you want to win Huat Pals?!
Last but not least, as with past years, I will be gifting away extra Marina Hays that I have. Getting the rare piece hasn’t been as easy as it used to (I have fond memories of getting multiple BB Lohs and Baobaos in the past), but if I do manage to get multiple copies you can stay subscribed for a chance of snatching it!
