Hot Deal: Get Samsonite Suitcase or S$250 Cashback with OCBC Credit Cards

S$250 is the highest sign-up gift we’ve seen for an OCBC credit card sign-up offer in recent memory, although the requirements are a little bit more troublesome than that of the suitcase.
💳 A new OCBC cardholder refers to those who do not currently have a principal OCBC credit card, and have not cancelled any in the past 6 months. Refer to the terms and conditions for specific terms.

Take note that the requirements depend on the choice of your sign-up gift:

The suitcase has easy requirements: just S$500 spend is required within the first 30 days of card approval. It also looks like a really nice and pricey suitcase, so I would personally pick this promo if I were a new OCBC cardholder.
The S$250 cashback, on the other hand, requires you to spend S$1,000 twice; once per 30-day block in the first 60 days. You can’t spend S$2,000 at one go to satisfy this requirement, and any spend in excess of S$1,000 does not count towards the next period.

It does make the S$250 cashback offer less attractive unless you are certain you can meet the spend requirements and do not want the Samsonite suitcase.
Eligible cards
From 1st June 2023, OCBC 90°N was added to this promo while they ended this promo prematurely for the OCBC NXT. The promo was slated to end 30th June 2023, and this still applies for OCBC 365, OCBC Titanium Rewards, and now the OCBC 90°N.
OCBC NXT’s promo period, on the other hand, was changed to end on 31st May 2023. I like to think that my recent review and video on OCBC NXT have been sending the bank an overwhelming volume of applications for the card, leading to this change.
Oh well, new-to-OCBC caradholders who want the OCBC NXT would now have to pick another OCBC card first for a sign-up offer before getting the OCBC NXT as a second card.
