Guide: Managing Your UOB Lady’s Card Categories

At an unbeatable 6 miles per dollar earn rate, the UOB Lady’s Card is perhaps the top card to use for collecting miles – at least until 29th February 2024. The catch, however, is that you only get the high earn rate on categories which you select before each calendar quarter.

Choosing your category

When you first apply for the UOB Lady’s Card, you can choose one of the following categories:

Changing your category

You may change your category for the next calendar quarter. The 4 calendar quarters in a year are:

  • Q1: January, February, March
  • Q2: April, May, June
  • Q3: July, August, September
  • Q4: October, November, December

For example, if you changed your category in November 2023, the change will take effect on 1st January 2024.

You have until 11.59PM of the last day of each calendar quarter to change your category for the next quarter. 11.59PM 31st December 2023 would be the cut-off time to change for Q1 2024. If you forget and change it only on 1st January 2024, you have to wait until 1st April 2024 for the new selection to take effect.

To change your category, fill out this form. There is no need to fill out the form if you wish to maintain the same category. If you fill the form multiple times, the category chosen will be the choice indicated in the latest form filled.

Checking your category

Forgot what you picked? Use UOB Chat Assist to ask a customer service representative what your category is:

The service is available between 8AM to 8PM daily.

UOB should really display the category into their mobile app, but I suppose this works reasonably well enough.

With the 6 miles per dollar earn rate slated to end on 29th February 2024, remember to pick the right categories for Q1 of 2024 for the last couple of months left for this excellent earn rate.
