Citi Prestige cardholders are able to get a complimentary upgrade to the Prestige tier of Marina Bay Sands’ rewards programme, Sands LifeStyle. Attaining Prestige on Sands LifeStyle typically requires S$5,000 of spend (excluding GST) at participating outlets located within MBS, but your Citi Prestige card will get you up to 12 months of membership for free.
Register by 30th November 2023 or 30th April 2024
Those who register by 30th November 2023 will get a 12-month membership upgrade to the Prestige tier. There will be another 12-month extension if S$5,000 minimum spend is made.
From 1st December 2023 to 30th April 2024, the free upgrade is for 3 months instead. After a minimum spend of S$1,500 within this 3-month period, there will be a 9-month extension to the upgrade.
Cardholders should bring their physical Citi Prestige card and their identity card to the following locations at Marina Bay Sands:
|Lobby, Hotel Tower 1
|Daily: 10am – 10.30pm
|The Shoppes, B1 (above Sampan Rides)
|Daily: 10am – 11pm
|The Shoppes, B2 (near Digital Light Canvas)
|Daily: 10am – 11pm
Registration takes around 5 to 10 minutes and a photo will be taken for your membership profile picture.
Sands LifeStyle Prestige benefits
One of the more useful perks for most would probably be the free tickets for Digital Light Canvas, SkyPark Observation Deck and Sampan Rides. Prestige tier members can redeem up to 2 complimentary tickets per month and you should use the app to book the tickets.
There’s also a 1-for-1 Art Science Museum offer and you can buy up to 4 tickets per month as a Prestige member.
If you are a driver, the parking perk may appeal to you. You can use $4 Resort Dollars to pay for all-day parking as long as you make a same-day spend at participating outlets within the mall.
I’m a happy Citi Prestige cardholder
I gladly renewed my Citi Prestige for a second year as its perks and benefits more than pay for my annual fee. While this free upgrade isn’t a groundbreaking benefit to have, it certainly is a nice little addition to the card’s list of features.
Check out the card sign-up promo and you can add in “MBS sampan ride” into the mix:
