Great Deal: S$270 Cashback, No Minimum Spend For StanChart Smart & StanChart Simply Cash
Until 31st May 2023, StanChart is offering a S$270 sign-up offer for two of its credit cards, and no minimum spend is required! This offer is open to new StanChart cardholders who don’t have a StanChart card. If you have had a StanChart card previously, please refer to “Ex-cardholder or Existing Cardholders” section below.
StanChart cards may have offered above S$300 before, but in recent months the sign-up offers have been decidedly less generous. It is also worth nothing that a promo without minimum spend is a lot better on the effort-reward ratio. All you need is to make one eligible transaction of any amount to qualify for the sign-up reward which is still pretty attractive.
The S$270 is given in the form of cashback, but it’s quite easy to withdraw cashback from StanChart credit cards. All you need is to sign up for one of the two eligible cards below, and activate the card within 30 days of approval to qualify for S$250 cashback. Thereafter, make one eligible spend within the same 30-period with with no minimum amount and get a further S$20 cashback.

Ex-cardholder or Existing Cardholders
Ex-cardholder who previously signed up with StanChart
If you have previously signed up for a card through StanChart directly, you may want to sign up for SingSaver’s offer instead. Even though you may have cancelled your StanChart card more than 12 months ago, StanChart apparently keeps track of the sign-up offer they have given you previously and this affects the sign-up offer you have received.
Ex-cardholder who previously signed up with SingSaver (or other channels)
To be clear, this does not apply if your StanChart card was signed up through SingSaver (or other channel as long as the gift was not fulfilled by StanChart itself). You can still apply for StanChart’s promo above.
