Great Deal: Get S$320 With StanChart Smart Card; No Min Spend Required
Haven’t gotten a StanChart card before? You can get S$320 when you sign up for the StanChart Smart Card. While not the highest sign-up offer we’ve seen (it was S$350 a few weeks ago), this particular promo requires no minimum spend. All you need is to sign up as a new StanChart cardholder with the link below and activate your card within 30 days from approval.
The offer is for applications until the last day of 31st December 2022 31st January 2023 and the reward is fulfilled by StanChart as cashback credited to your card within 60 working days from activation. The cashback must be utilised within 3 months from the date of credit. Do go through the terms and conditions (I recommend downloading them for future reference) and tap here to fill up this Google form once you have completed the sign-up.

If you used to have a StanChart card, and have cancelled it more than 12 months ago, you can still apply, but do note that StanChart has some “Previous Cashback Cap” clause in their terms and conditions. What I gather from it is that you will get S$320 under this promo minus any amount you have received before as a sign-up gift previously. I haven’t heard anyone who has been subject to this (please sound off if you have), but if you don’t want to take any chances, consider the alternate promo found below.

StanChart Smart Card gives some of the highest rates when it comes to card rewards. At 6% cashback or 5.57 miles per dollar, it gives you good rates whether you prefer cashback or miles. The issue is that the card’s generous earn rates are given only on a select few merchants.
Nevertheless, given the lack of a monthly minimum spend, the Smart Card is easy to use and the sign-up offer is excellent.

I received the $300 signup cashback from StanChart a few days after card activation. Even though I had received cashback as sign up gift relatively recently (14 months ago; previous card was cancelled 13 months ago), the previous amount was not deducted under the Previous Cashback Cap clause. Haven’t received the $20 mgm offer though.

Do i need to make any spending or only need to activate as there’s some clause in the referral one talking about eligible transactions (clause 5 on the referral t and c).
