You need to sign up with the link below and the rewards will be fulfilled by SingSaver a few months after completion of the spend requirement. S$500 of eligible transactions have to be made within 30 days of card approval.

After signing up, make sure to fill up the SingSaver’s reward redemption form found in your email to select your gift. Aside from the iPad, you may also choose Nintendo Switch, or Dyson V8 Slim Fluffy™.

Easy ways to hit the spend requirement

If you are at a loss on what to spend on, an easy way to clock the spend would be to use Citi PayAll, pay its 2.2% service fee, and pay bills like insurance or income tax really quickly.

It’s S$11 of fees, but you get your spend requirement done really conveniently, and for Citi PremierMiles and Citi Rewards cards you even get bonus miles with the current Citi PayAll promotion.

Citi Cash Back applicants may simply wish to buy vouchers to clock the spend and get further 8% cashback. Do note that you need a minimum spend of S$800 within the statement month to qualify for this earn rate.

Alternate promo

Do note that Citi itself offers promos that allow you to get miles and cashback. This may be an option for those prefer miles and points, or do not wish to sign up through SingSaver. Citi’s own promo also allows you to choose the Citi SMRT Card for S$300, so that may also be another reason.

SingSaver’s Citi promos have a 12-month holding clause, and as far as I can tell signing up directly with Citi has no such holding period.

Stack with Citi Prestige promo

After getting your first Citi card, do remember to also sign up for Citi Prestige if you meet the salary requirements. The Citi Prestige sign-up promo is great and works even after you get your first Citi card! Between its perks and sign-up miles, the card‘s features can easily justify its compulsory annual fee and more.
