Easy ways to clock the spend requirement
There are 2 easy ways to hit the S$800 minimum spend without actually having to spend unnecessarily. One of the most common ways is to buy supermarket vouchers like those from Sheng Siong or NTUC FairPrice. By buying vouchers you are able to hit the spend requirement quickly, and you are free to use the vouchers over the 1 to 2 years they are valid for.
If you are not into groceries, consider buying vouchers from heymax. There is a pretty wide variety of vouchers ranging from Grab to foodpanda, or Courts and Ikea. You even get bonus Max Miles when you sign up using my link, and more when you buy the vouchers.
Of course, if you have no trouble hitting the minimum spend on your ordinary spending, most kinds of retail spend also work, whether you want to buy an iPhone or air tickets.
