If you haven’t already done so, you can get 20,000 miles when you apply for HSBC TravelOne and meet a few simple requirements! This is until the end of 2023 and it applies whether you are a new or existing cardholder.

Get complimentary lounge visits, travel insurance, and point transfers
The HSBC TravelOne comes with 4 complimentary DragonPass lounge visits each year for the principal cardholder. The card also comes with free travel insurance including coverage for Covid-19 related items.
TravelOne cardholders can transfer their miles to as many as 16 airline partners and HSBC is promising that most redemptions will be completed within 1 business day. There is also no redemption charge until 31st May 2024.
What to spend on?
You need to meet the minimum spend to qualify for rewards. Do note that there are transactions which are excluded. Read the terms and conditions carefully when applying.
Generally, retail transactions like buying stuff or dining out are very safe. Things like bill payments, education expenses and CardUp or ipaymy become a lot iffier and depends on the bank your card is from.
