What’s the catch?
The rewards are amazing, so what’s the catch? A few simple requirements:
- Apply using the links here for your first ever Citi/StanChart card (or you have cancelled all your Citi/StanChart cards more than 12 months ago)
- Fill in the rewards form in your email
- Citi: activate and make one qualifying transaction of any amount ($1 works too) within 60 days of card approval
- StanChart: activate and spend at least $80 within 30 days of card approval
- Receive your reward within 2 to 4 months
The specified wait time is a little long, but given how attractive the rewards are, a little turnaround time isn’t too unreasonable. Do read through all terms and conditions.
