DBS PayLah! S$3 Cashback Returns Every Saturday From 29 August 2026
DBS is bringing back its popular S$3 cashback PayLah! promo from 29th August to 19th December 2026!
Every Saturday during the promo period, the first 160,000 eligible PayLah! transactions from 6AM will receive 100% cashback capped at S$3 when paying at participating hawkers, coffeeshops, wet markets and heartland shops.
The promo lasts for a total of 17 Saturdays this time round.

S$3 cashback every Saturday
To enjoy the cashback, simply use DBS PayLah! to scan and pay at a participating merchant every Saturday from 6AM.
You’ll receive 100% cashback capped at S$3, limited to one redemption per user every Saturday.
This means:
| Spend Amount | Cashback |
|---|---|
| S$1.50 | S$1.50 |
| S$3 | S$3 |
| S$5.50 | S$3 |
Since you only get one redemption each Saturday, you should ideally make sure your first qualifying transaction is at least S$3 to maximise the promo.
Cashback should generally be credited to your PayLah! account after completing the transaction. DBS states that if it isn’t credited immediately, it may take up to seven working days.

Same 160,000 redemptions, but we’re back to waking up at 6AM
Last year’s PayLah! cashback promo was also limited to the first 160,000 redemptions each Saturday, and it started from 8AM.
Unfortunately, DBS has decided that we were getting too much sleep – for this year’s promo, redemptions start from 6AM every Saturday instead. The good news is that the quota remains at 160,000 — significantly higher than older versions of the promo which only offered 75,000 redemptions.
Whether you actually need to wake up at 6AM is another matter. Based on my observations in the past few years, the redemptions tend to be less competitive earlier on in the promo when fewer people know about it, taking a few hours to run out. It then gets increasingly difficult to redeem over the campaign period as more learn about the promo, with redemptions finishing within the hour.
You can check the banner at the top of the PayLah! app before paying to see whether the day’s cashback has already been fully redeemed.
Promo runs for 17 Saturdays
One nice improvement is that this year’s campaign is considerably longer.
The promo runs from 29th August to 19th December 2026, covering 17 Saturdays:
- 29th August
- 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th September
- 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th and 31st October
- 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th November
- 5th, 12th and 19th December
If you somehow redeem the full S$3 every single week, that’s a total of S$51 cashback.
Not exactly life-changing money, but free money is free money.
Participating hawkers, coffeeshops and heartland shops
Note that the cashback isn’t applicable anywhere that simply accepts PayLah. You must make an in-person PayLah! Scan & Pay transaction at one of DBS’s participating:
- hawker stalls
- coffeeshops
- wet markets
- heartland shops
For heartland shops, wet markets and coffeeshops, look out for the campaign signage at shops accepting NETS QR or PayNow UEN QR. For hawkers, look out for an SGQR code with the PayLah! logo or PayLah! sticker.
See the full list of participating stalls here.
Not all PayLah! QR payments qualify
This is probably the part to pay attention to.
Simply scanning a QR code with PayLah! does not automatically mean you’ll receive the cashback.
The transaction must be made in person at a participating merchant and processed using an eligible SGQR, NETS QR or PayNow UEN QR.
Personal PayNow/PayLah! QR payments aren’t eligible.
DBS also specifically excludes PayNow UEN QR payments routed through various payment service providers, including Fave, ShopBack, Stripe, Airwallex, Xendit, 2C2P, ShopeePay and several others.
There are also several excluded merchant categories including petrol stations, pharmacies, hotels, medical services, schools and shops located inside privately owned commercial malls such as Bugis Junction, Great World City and Tanglin Mall.

Pro-tip (from my mum)
My mum has been a longtime fan of this promo, having taken advantage of this each year it happens.
She has a pro-tip on securing this promo weekly – she is on friendly terms with a hawker she frequents, and she often makes advance payment on Saturday mornings when the promo is on, before going to the market later in the day to pick up her purchase.
